LAKE DISTRICT
Went to the Lake District for a long weekend recently, it was ridiculously hot and we decided to climb a small mountain in the mid-day sun. It was great.

PRETTY GOOD ISSUE 2 – GROWING PAINS
It’s here! Pretty Good Issue 2! And it’s bigger and better than issue 1 – 88 pages of photography, graffiti, writing, poetry and even cartoons! Printed on ludicrously nice quality 150gsm uncoated paper with a 250gsm cover. Honestly it’s more like a mini book than a zine at this point. Top quality stuff this. Get…

PRETTY GOOD ZINES
Alright new zines are out! 44 pages all the stuff I would normally post on social media and then forget about pretty quickly. Instead I’ll be putting all that stuff together into these quarterly high-quality printed zines as a sort of archive. This one is 90% my stuff with some amazing contributions from friends and…

DOWN BY THE RIVER
Nice day out painting by the Thames Estuary today in Grays. I love this spot when the weather is good, and it did start out good, but then rapidly went downhill until it was grey and raining. Still mild though, and it’s always nice to paint outside of the city for a change. Freestyled this…

LIFE DRAWINGS
After 20+ years of doing art and design I recently decided to learn how to draw in a traditional sense. It’s been a pretty steep learning curve so far, but I’m pleased with how I’m progressing. It’s very different from my usual approach to drawing, I have to frequently remind myself to look more and…

START SOMEWHERE
In an effort to waste less of my time on Instagram I’ve decided to start posting all the small, personal artwork bits I do here, on my website. That way at least they’re out there for people to look at if they’re interested, but I don’t have to spend 2-3 hours a day thinking about…
